I;ve been asked by a friend if there is a method to cause perm baldness and all iv;e seen that seems straightforward is the various methods of killing the hairs roots using electricity. Any thought or ideas?

Sat, August 11, 2007 - 7:57 AMI know a couple of guys who have done this using laser treatments. Laser covers more area faster than electrolysis, but takes a few treatments to completely eliminate the hair (as does electrolysis). Also, laser works best on dark hair and very poorly on light hair, so it's best to get this done before you turn grey. ;) -

Wed, September 19, 2007 - 11:24 PMI had electrolysis on the ears a few years ago; it's a very slow process involving a small area at any one time and you have to do the same area multiple times
I think it would be prohibitively expensive to do the entire head
I'm blonde so laser is not an option
